Vehicle Maintenance

I often hear people talking about having a “spiritual experience.” It is my belief that we are actually spiritual beings having a “human experience.” Our souls have been placed temporarily inside a physical body in order that we can gain knowledge and wisdom, and experience the rich human emotions of love, compassion, and understanding, as well as pain, loss, and disappointment. Dealing with these difficult emotions builds our strength and endurance and enables us to more fully appreciate love, compassion, and understanding.

With this in mind, I believe that it is of great importance that our physical body, the “vehicle” for our souls, be maintained as efficiently as possible. We are all born with physical limitations, some more serious than others. But the body that God has given each of us is the one that is right for us. He doesn’t make mistakes. I am blessed to be born with a strong, healthy body for my human experience. “Vehicle” maintenance is my responsibility.
